photoshop: Removing the background hair pt1

This is a tried and tested technique for removing the background from an image with loose strands of hair. Its a very advanced way of doing things using channels, layer masks, image adjustments and almost every selection tool photoshop has to offer. Ive tried to explain everything that im doing so you can follow along.
