Blackheads and Large Pores
I always prefer to do an extraction in the afternoon, when I am not going out that night. That way any redness is calmed during the night and I wake up to soft and blackhead-less skin. I didnt mention toners because right now I dont use one, but they are helpful when it comes to tighten the pores. The whiteheads I mentioned are called Milia With Hazel is one of the best non-alcohol toners www.drugstore.com Products Mentioned in this video Availability and prices may vary depending on your location. @manonvdd thnx!!
@Danni4skittlez
wow youre right!
You can use a bobby pin as an extractor. I use tea tree oil in my which hazel toner and use an egg white mask and it helps so much. When you do this, make sure it’s surgical sterile. Do not do this in the bathroom, don’t even think about it! You do not want a staph infection. All the bactria from your toilet flies through the air when you flush the toilet.
@Rachel0h Thanks for the tip! I’ve been dying to try her products
Chemicals *can* rid you of blackheads. Check out Paula’s Choice skin care line – it has exfoliating creams and lotions that contain BHA and AHA. Very effective, I use one with 2% BHA. I have fewer blackheads now.
@Estellekh if you exfoliate frequently you’ll prevent the pores to get clogged, but when there’s already clogging, you have to extract, not keeping pushing the gunk in
Can you please let me know, you say that exfoliating can make blackheads worse cause it pushes them in, but then you say at the end of that comment that if you do it frequently it can help. Which is it? Or is it best not to exfoliate at all?
wow thanks for all those helpful tipps!
I hear crickets :]
Very good video.
where can i find the mint julep masove at ????
kinda random but you look alot like the girl from the movie paranormal activity!
@LANKid9 dont use mac concealers.
u took alot of effort!
your eyes are amaaaaazing!
milia seems to me much easier to deal with than usual blackheads, especially the really annoying big ones. milia appears only after a LONG time of not taking care of your skin type correspondingly and can be removed extremely easily with a needle (disinfected, ofc) and just pops out to never come back (or in 6 months-a year, dep. on the type of skincare you will keep up with). normal blackheads are a real pain, one must steam the face every time for extraction so it gradually dries the skin
No I don’t
do you steam/exfoiliate before you extract your milia?
I used to have red pores between my chin & my bottom lip in the center. It’s actually a bacteria in your skin. Go to your doctor & get a RX for Erythromycin, topical. It not only helps with acne, but the redness will go away!
how do you remove really red pores? i try concealing it with mac studio finish concealer but even that concealer doesnt work! what should i do?
whats the difference between a toner and an astringent??
Thnks Jenna! yes, milia can be really annoying
Your informative videos are PRICELESS! Thank you for YOUR explainations on what works for you. Through listening to this video, I learned: Melia or Amelia.. (at 6:19 on your video) i had developed 2 of those and i just couldnt ‘extract’ them… i knew that it was a pimple of sort (it was white on the inside) but like you said, it has no outlet (pore) to come out of. So I know understand. Thank you!
Aw,I wish I had your skin color.
