You obviously took this woman’s words out of context. Compulsive Skin picking (Dermatillomania) is a condition that affects FAR more women than it does men. She was not referring to acne itself, which as we all know, is felt by both men and women equally.

THANKS! for posting the video! I? find that too people will say I have wonderful clear skin but in my eyes I feel like my skin is absolutely horrible, I know its largely in my head now, and I also have dermatillomania. I still always think its worse than it is, I really don’t believe people when they say otherwise!

I just had to tell you that your 30day challenge has inspired me. I don’t have acne, but I have suffered with dermatillomania for a long time and now I have reached a place where I am serious about stopping skin picking. I have tryed things before but this time I have drawn up a chart so I can tick off each day that I don’t pick, and it’s only this first day but it? is already very hard! However I am willing to go through the uncomfortableness and beat this. Thank you so much for inspiring me.
